DEADLINE REMINDER FOR SUBMISSIONS!

We are picking 15 artists to paint a helmet for Heavy Heads 2015 based on artwork submitted to us. The deadline for submissions is January 31. We will take a look at everyones work side by side and make our selections and will make the announcement on Feb 13.

Thanks for all who submitted stuff so far! All you on-the-fence types better get on it!

Chop Cult has been an amazing resource to home builders and backyard fabricators. It continues to grow daily thanks to people like Lisa Ballard. We were lucky enough to get a Focus Feature spot for Heavy Heads. The turnout and feedback from the first event was proof that people want to go to this type of thing. We are determined to make Heavy Heads 2015 even better than last year. You rule, Lisa!

HEAVY HEADS 2015: OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

HEAVY HEADS 2 IS COMING! We are opening up the next show to 15 juried submissions, along with 15 invited artists. If you want a chance to do a lid for Heavy Heads 2015 send a sample of your work to zach@puresludge.com or in a direct message on FB! 

Last year we got a ton of people sending samples of amazing work after we had the roster set in stone. This year we want to give those folks a chance to blow minds in HEAVY HEADS 2015. 

Don't slack! Submissions are due by Feb 1st. We will make the selection Friday Feb 13.

There really isn't much i don't eat however it was probably all pretty awful.

When did you get into drawing and when did that transition into tattooing?

I have been drawing since i can remember, started working in tattoo shops at age 14, began apprenticing at age 18, was full time tattooing by 21
